Exhibited in the group show Less curated by Liam Bryan Brown, these two works sit within an ongoing exploration of abstract post-minimalism. Without entirely rejecting references to natural phenomena, like sunsets or atmospheres, the works aim to evoke a meditative response in the viewer while anchored by the language of digital image making (the ‘gradient’, the ‘layer’, the ‘opacity’).
The exhibition also featured the work of artists: Courtney Coombs, Loki Groves, Madeleine Keinonen, Zoe Knight, Angelica Roache-Wilson, Matthew Sneesby, Rachael Wellisch, Helen Bird and Elizabeth Willing. Less was displayed at The Laundry Artspace on 24 March 2016,
